SAVC values the effective use and management of environmental resources as reliable water and electricity supplies are essential for productivity. Initiatives to strengthen energy as well as environmental pollution prevention and control have been introduced in response to climate change. In addition to comply with regulatory requirements, effective energy-efficiency measures are also being adopted to reduce the waste of environmental resources and ensure sustainable development.

Environmental Management System

In 2024, we get the certification of ISO 14001.Except to following the laws of ROC, we also push for continual Improvement through the Management system with PDCA.

Also, we cover to the environmental issues that the clients concern. We go all out the responsibility ESH, and the situation of the business, and we create the sustainable environment.

Environmental Protection and Initiatives

I.Raw Materials Management

Increasing severity of global warming and environmental pollution has led to growing international awareness on the importance of environmental protection. Client expectations on green products and product safety are only increasing steadily. SAVC now requires product development to take compliance with HSF requirements into account when raw materials are being introduced and assessed during the R&D phase. Supplier partners for raw materials must comply with HSF requirements on a continuous basis as well to fulfill our joint commitment on maintaining environmental sustainability, protecting the health and safety of end-users, and reducing our corporate operating risks.

In order to following the International environmental laws and meet demand that the client requires, we generate the regulatory regulations strategy and manage it to ensuring the production we make can meeting the requirements the International environmental laws and clients require.

II.Waste Management

Waste management at SAVC follows the strategy of waste reduction and recycling. Waste reduction is achieved through source management measures that reduce the amount of waste generated. Due to the nature of the waste that our plants produce, recycling and reuse is our preferred method of waste treatment followed by physical chemistry and incineration. We are continuing to monitor emerging treatment technologies that improve the recovery rate and reduce the ratio of non-recyclable waste in order to reduce the environmental burden of waste processing.

III.Energy Management and Energy Conservation

In response to the increasingly severe challenges posed by climate change, the Company has implemented various energy‑saving measures. In addition to encouraging employees to turn off lights when leaving their workstations, sensor‑activated lighting has been installed in public areas such as pantries, and traditional lighting has been replaced with LED fixtures. At the Guangfu Plant, the air compressor system, which previously operated 24 hours a day, is now shut down during off‑peak hours after work to further reduce electricity consumption.

The Company introduced the ISO 14064‑1 Greenhouse Gas Inventory Management System in 2025. The organizational boundary covers the entire plant area, including both the Guangfu Plant and the Lixing Plant. The inventory includes identifying and calculating direct and indirect greenhouse gas emission sources within the facilities and establishing baseline carbon emission data. A third‑party agency will be commissioned in 2026 to conduct external verification and issue a verification statement.
